 Elon Musk

Elon Musk is the chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder of an automotive company, Tesla. The total value of his 17% stake in this company is around $153 billion. He is the richest person on this planet with a net worth of around $225 billion including private assets of $40.3 billion and $3.9 billion in cash.

Being born in Pretoria, South Africa, he studied business and physics at the University of Pennsylvania. He even pursued a Ph.D. in energy physics but dropped out of Stanford University. Elon always had a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. In 2004, he became a major funder of Tesla Motors which later turned him into the current CEO of the company.

He also bought the social media giant Twitter in an all-cash transaction worth $44 billion. Along with that, Elon is also the CEO and founder of a Spacecraft engineering company, SpaceX, and an infrastructure construction service company, The Boring Company.

Bernard Arnault

French personality, Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault a.k.a Bernard Arnault is the CEO and co-founder of the largest luxury goods company, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH). He is also the owner of other luxurious companies like Louis Vuitton, Hennessey, Marc Jacobs, and Sephora. Right after receiving an engineering degree from the École Polytechnique, Bernard joined his father’s company named Ferret-Savinel. At first, he served as the in-charge there. Later, converted it to a real state company named Férinel Inc. in 1979. From the money he earned from that company, he was able to buy Christian Dior for $15 million in 1985. His empire started to grow and he formed more than 70 brands from it.

He was labeled as chair of the board, and CEO of the company, LVMH in 1989. Christian Dior is one of his greatest stakes (97.5%) stake as it also controls 41.3% of LVMH. Now, the share of Christian Dior and 6.2% in LVMH are held by Groupe Familial Arnault which is the company of Bernard’s family.

Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos is the founder of CEO of an American multinational technology company, Amazon. He has a stake of 10% in this company which is worth around $153 billion. With a net worth of $133 billion, he has been able to be in third place as the world’s richest person. He is also the owner of The Washington Post ($250 million) and Blue Origin ($9.15 billion stakes).
